Vintage Woman's or Juniors Tiered Can Can 3 layer white flared square dance slip
Size: M/L
Condition:
Looks near-new...may be a flaw, possibly intentional, or, in part, the intended design....there's a slit  to the interior tulle (my apologies for the poorly-chosen background that barely shows it, but it's explained below); perhaps it was cut by former owner, for ease-of-movement. It's an easy, and short hand-repair, if you decide you'd prefer it sewn shut...otherwise, I believe the cut presents no aesthetic issues, and likely not seen by anyone; it's also possibly from the factory (I've bought a few dresses, with underlying tulle, and the cuts are also jagged...then, I realized, it's impossible to get cut a straight edge, unless a strip of fabric is there to secure it. The medium-thin grade of breathable elastic is very white, and not as taut as when it was new...no repairs or replacements needed. No scents. Clean.
It's ready to wear straight out of the package...I hand-washed it in a clear, organic, unscented detergent.
Comes from a pet/smoke-free home.
Fabric, colors, and comments:
No fabric indicated;
a medium-thickness shiny (taffeta, or fancy polyester?) fabric on exterior, and innermost layer, both starting at bottom edge of waistband; the two layers, plus the tulle provide the durability, and some form...not too-stiff, or too-thick; the middle layer of 11" long tulle is attached to the innermost layer, starting about 6" below the waistband, and ending about 4" above the bottom edge; the interior layer is nearly the same length as the innermost layer, but is about 1/2" shorter with a simple, thin, serged edge; the outer layer has a 3/8" wide, semi-open style lace trim, with a scalloped edge, and some shimmery thread to give it a bit of visual pop, when it's sticking out, sitting down, or dancing. The elasticized waistband is semi-taut...not too-confining, not-too-tight...probably degraded a bit, but doesn't require repair/replacement.
I believe it's 80's - 90's, lightly worn, and well-stored. It's bright white, and both layers, shimmer.
