    Description

    a very rare 16th century fighting axe wooden ball mushroom type knob on top it's in excellent condition hand Forged we were told that this was from the 16th century has long burl wood burl handle is 29 in Long it is in great condition the metal it's a little loose to the top but great example of a early original fighting axe from the medieval times
    took this to Butterfield's S.F. for free

    bout 20 years ago and they said that it could be over three  hundred years old but not sure of the origin we thought it could be
    native american ?
