Spanish doublet button (worn under the armored cuirass); professionally cleaned and conserved by me (see * below).
Details/notes:
Mold cast; solid brass alloy with integral offset shank; dates circa 1600-1650; recovered near in St. Augustine, FL by a former colleague.
