    Description

Original WWI "Victory A Question of Stamina" US Food Admin. Vintage 1917 Poster
Large 29" x 21" World War I United States Food Administration
original propaganda poster. Plastic wrapped with cardboard backing. I have not taken it out of it's protective covering since I acquired it, but it looks to have tears on the top right-hand corner and edges, some general age wear and creasing.
Part of any number of civilian donation drives held during wartime, this illustration by front line artist-correspondent, Harvey Dunn (1884-1952), New York-based prodigy of legendary artist Howard Pyle, beckons the public to provide their boys overseas with the most basic of necessities: food. "Send the wheat - meats- fats - sugar, the fuel for the fighters"
