    Description

    Original 1917 lithograph supporting the Second Liberty Loan, a bond initiative held during fall 1917 shortly after the US formally entered the war. The design features a portrait of and quote by President Woodrow Wilson asserting the necessity of American intervention in the conflict. The quote states:  "The time has come to conquer or submit. For us there is but one choice.  We have made it." No artist signature, but printer's information (American Lithographic Co, NY) in lower right corner and lower left (No 8) corners. Dimensions are 20 x 30 inches.
    Newly linen backed (10 oz cotton canvas + 100 lb cotton paper) and acid-neutralized.  Very good condition; strong colors; no missing paper; faint traces of old creases. There are two photos, one with and one without flash. Poster will ship rolled in a hard tube.
