    Description

Original WW1 poster 30" x 20".  titled "My daddy bought me a government bond of the Third Liberty loan, Did Yours". It was made by the US printing and Lithograph Co, New York.  It is also marked in the bottom left corner."11-A" The poster itself is in fair to good condition, especially considering it is 100 years old. There is no color fading of the young girl's picture and no damage to the corners or edges. However there are several tears on the poster (top and bottom) see photos. In addition, there appears to be  light black marks throughout, not sure if it is dirt marks or intended toning. Finally there is some crease marks  in the center area of the poster but more prevalent  in the top area above the girl's hair bow. Certainly still suitable for framing and display. Sometime in the 1950's the previous owner had this poster along with others they owned mounted on poster board  or cardboard(not attached) and shrink wrapped in plastic to preserve their condition.
