Description
Here is a nice 16th century fighting axe with a straight blade in good original condition. The iron surface has a dark smooth patina from age and the original shaped handle has a nice patina from age which can be seen in the photos. In total measuring 24.4 inches long and the blade measures 7 inches long and the head measures 9.9 inches wide. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland from a gentleman's collection. This item cannot be sent to a P.O. box address. The handle can be easily removed from the head and fits tight when placed in the head's socket.
