    19th - 20th Century Cinquedea Dagger
    This cinquedea seems to be dated around the 19th century possibly Victorian or the turn of the century in the 16th century style. The overall condition is great and the dagger is very imposing being and large and having a wide cinquedea blade. These daggers are highly sought after with originals only being made for a hundred years from around 1450 to 1550 with
    The hilt is the traditional style with curved down swept quillons and, traditional shaped grip possibly made of wood or some form of scales. the pommel and an iron pommel cap.
    The dagger has a heavy double edge fighting blade with a thin single fuller, it is also stamped with a double cross. The blade also has a slight cant / curvature.
