An early Colonial Era manuscript document from Worcester, MA, clearly dated Sept, 1789--a receipt for John Green, Junior, on behalf of his father "the Sum of Eleven hundred and fifty two pounds in Massachusetts State Securities, and Ninety pounds in Continental Security".  Signed on the reverse by John Medcalfs.  Approximately 7 1/2" x 5 3/4" in size.
