    (Because of advancing age and the problems that go with same, I'll be cutting back on the
    number of items in my ebay store over the next few months - especially items that are
    difficult to ship [like oversized pre ww1 sheet music and other oversized items] as well as inexpensive items that have been
    listed for more than 2 years without much buyer interest. If you are watching such an
    item in my store, you'd best buy it now before it's permanently removed).
    IDENTIFYING COURAGE:
    The Stories of Alabama Veterans
    by Alabama Veterans Memorial Foundation, Birmingham Alabama
    [Birmingham, Alabama]: R. Boozer Press, 2001; 1st edition, with 145 pages + [3] un-numbered pages at the back of the book, bound in original stiff embossed & printed silver paper covers]. With many illustrations of the representative vets, their home lives, and some Alabama views (like the WW1 soldiers marching to the train station on a downtown Birmingham street). Nicely done book.
    Finished size of the book is 10 x 9 inches; for reading or perusal, it opens up to 20 x 9 inches.
    Book also has a brief chapter on building the Rainbow Viaduct in downtown Birmingham - named after the Rainbow Division.
    Biographies and stories of a few representative Alabama military veterans (including at least one Medal of Honor winner - Kelly Ingram - for whom a famed downtown Birmingham park was named) from these wars: World War 1 or One, World War 2 or Two, The Korean War, The Vietnam War and the Gulf War.
    As of 25 Jan 2020, I could find no other listing for this beautiful book on ebay.
    Scanner makes a few of the pages (especially those printed on silver paper) a bit tough to read but I assure you that the actual book is easily read. FINE condition. Looks like it may have been [carefully] read once. VERY FINE
    I apologize but due to recent machinations by ebay (they frequently like to "fix" things that ain't "broken"), the links shown above may not take you to the specific subject areas shown but will, rather, take you to my entire store where you will now have to do your own searches for those very specific locations and subjects :-{
