    Description

1918 Original vintage poster. World War I Propaganda (Committee on Public Division of Pictorial Publicity, US Govt, 1918).
War Savings Stamps Poster (20" X 30") "They Give Their Lives, Do You Lend Your Savings?" War.
With grave markers silhouetted atop a hill, with a darkening and shadowy sky behind, this fine poster is generally regarded as one of the more graphic images of all the propaganda efforts from the WW I era. It was painted by the noted Pennsylvania artist and illustrator, HO. DeVito Welsh. An unrestored poster that displays signs of use. Selling as is, sorry no returns. See photo for condition. Paper is torn and fragile. Will ship flat or in tube.
