    Poster (Approx. 20.5" X 28") "Cardinal Mercier." War. Offered is one of the many posters printed by the Food Administration featuring prominent figures and quotes about saving food. This version features Cardinal Mercier, a Belgian cardinal, who was the spokesman for the German occupation of Belgium. For his outspoken stance, the Germans placed him under house arrest. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Selling as is, sorry no refunds. Please see photo for condition. Missing paper and edges are frayed.
