    Description

    Details:
    A beautiful European hunting sword 17th century.
    The hilt is very interesting
    with a ebony handle carved with several bears, the  grip also has a ferrule which may have been replaced or has been cleaned.
    The guard is very intricate with hunting dogs masterfully engraved.
    The blade is a double edge design which has a hollow ground cross section. The condition of the blade is good considering its age but shows signs of use primarily in the front.
    The blade has several engraving on either side of the blade however they are not the same on with side.
