17th - 18th Century Left Handed Dagger
This interesting parrying dagger is in overall excellent condition.
The hilt is comprised of a spiral pommel with brass wire wrap grip and a set of curved quillons with spatulated ends and spiral groves. The guard is also fitted with a side ring which ties in with the overall spiral design having groves.
The dagger has a double edge blade with single fuller with tapers almost half the length of the blade.
The fullers on either side are marked with inscription / lettering.
