Watch: Amitabh Bachchan apologises for mispronouncing a Marathi word

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan posted a video on Thursday, where he apologised to his fans for pronouncing a Marathi word incorrectly. In the new video he shared that his friend, singer Sudesh Bhosale, pointed out his mistake.
On Tuesday, September 17, Bachchan shared a video on Instagram in which he is seen pledging not to litter on the streets. ‘Mi kachra karnaar nahi,’ he said in Marathi in the video.
Today, September 19, he shared another video where he said, “A few days ago, I made a video saying that I would not litter. I also said this in Marathi. My pronunciation in Marathi was not correct.” He added that his friend Sudesh Bhosale informed him that I pronounced it incorrectly.
“Had done a video where pronunciation was wrong .. so corrected it .. Apologies (sic),” read the caption.
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy with Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. This Friday, he will welcome singers Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal on the show.
